The programmable logic controller that manages the process must take into account several information relating to physical states such as :
- The presence of a bag at the entrance of the system,
- The position of the switchman,
- The presence of bags at the exit,
- The rank of the bag being palletized.
The instructional system PL200 models a fertilizer bag palletizing device, representative of an industrial machine from SOFERTY in Granville.
It allows the palletization of the fertilizer bags according to two types of configurations
Composition of the equipment :
The system includes a PL201A bag referral functional chain, a functional PL201 C bag configuration and orientation subassembly, and a module with an API, PL201-API (TSX37). These three elements allow a progressive approach to the technology of the palletizing system, and the implementation of pedagogical activities oriented towards the knowledge of sensors, pre-actuators, actuators, effectors, mechanical links and initiation to automation.
- A technical file based on: Component documentation, electrical and pneumatic diagrams, API program,
- A student file containing the written instructions and the mini project. All parts are made from a variational parameterized 3D modeler. (SOLID WORKS and INVENTOR)
