The DELTALAB EV240 is a constant-temperature hot wire anemometer which can be operated with one or two measurement channels. It is fully self-contained but can be connected to a computer interface via an acquisition card (EV219).

EV240The measurement channels are independent not only for measuring the wire resistance but also for adjusting the over heat coefficient, the gain and the zero.
The system has a single display unit for the two channels: it is simply switched to the channel to be displayed.
In measurement mode the display indicates the RMS voltages of the selected signals. It has two sensitivity ranges (0-2 V and 0-20 V) and three integration times (1, 5 and 10 seconds).
When two single wire probes or a crossed-wire probe are used, it is essential to connect through an EV219 acquisition system in order to process the data.
